It's Indian Week...Hooray!!! Quite possibly my favourite week of them all. It is so hard to decide what to have when this week rolls around. And remember you can now enjoy this spicy cuisine three nights this week - Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 5.00pm until 8.00pm. Where else are you going to find Indian food this good locally?

Here is what we have to offer you this week:

Appetizer:

Mulligatawny Soup
Known as “Pepper Water.” Exotic spices with tamarind, lemon juice, coconut milk, red lentils, vegetables and fresh cilantro

Aloo tikki
Fried potato cakes with garam masala and served with a sweet chilli sauce

Main Course:

Chicken Korma
A full flavoured and mildly spiced curry with tender chicken morsels, roasted cauliflower and pilau rice

Beef Madras
Diced beef shoulder simmered in our own hot madras curry, served with pilau rice and cool raita sauce

Aloo Gobi
A vegetarian dish of curried potato and cauliflower with a blend of spices served with naan bread

Dessert:

Gulab Jamun
Spongy milk balls served in a delicate syrup

Pista Kulfi
An Indian ice cream scented with cardamom and pistachio

Cruising the Mediterranean for Culinary Delights . . .


This weekend, we are offering you the opportunity to enjoy our Mediterranean cuisine for three evenings instead of two . . . Thursday, Friday AND Saturday night, we will be serving our dishes from 5.30pm until 8.00pm. Call me today to reserve your table at (902)681-3225!

Our menu this week features some new treats. Here's what we will be offering you:

Appetizer:

Zucchini Keftedes
Pan-fried zucchini and feta cheese fritters topped with Mediterranean yogurt and fresh dill

Caldo Verde
Portuguese soup of kale, potatoes and smoked sausage. Served with a side of hot sauce.

Main Course:

Chicken Marrakech
Lightly braised chicken, sweet bell peppers, and garbanzo beans with an earthy Moroccan spice blend in a flavorful chicken stock. Served over saffron and toasted almond couscous and finished with Greek yogurt

Spanakopita
Spinach, onions, and feta cheese wrapped in flaky phyllo pastry. Served with rosemary aioli and a salad of baby greens

Roasted European Sea Bass
Local, farm raised European sea bass, roasted and topped with a tomato and olive salad. Served with saffron and toasted almond couscous and Chef’s select vegetable

Dessert:

Chocolate Pâté
The finest Dark Cocao Barry Guayaquil chocolate, folded together with heavy cream and smooth Amber Rum. Served with a classic Crème l’Anglaise

Pistachio Ice Cream
Rich pistachio crème glace served with a crisp sesame cookie

We're proud to present our new evening menu as an alternative to the Mediterranean menu as well.

Come celebrate with us Salsa Style!!!


This week is special at McGill's!! We are celebrating the opening of our dance club upstairs on Thursday April 12th with some cuban beats by the Lost Tourists!! There is no cover charge for the evening...come dance the night away!!

Before that why don't you stop in for some dinner where we will be offering our Mexican treats and also our new evening menu!!

Mushroom and butternut squash empañadas
Setas y calabaza butternut empanadas

Crisp tri-colour corn tortilla chips served with our fresh salsa and guacamole
Crujiente de tres colores tortillas de maíz servidas con salsa fresca y guacamole

Main Course

Grilled adoba marinated striploin steak taco with black beans and guacamole. Served with corn pudding and seared scallions
Adobo a la parilla barinado el lomo filete taco de frijol negro y guacamole. Se sirve co el pudín de maíz y las cebolletas cauterizada

Chicken in a mole sauce, corn pudding and toasted garlic rice with lime and chilis
El pollo en una salsa de mole pudín de maíz, y arroz tostado de ajo con limón y chile

Tostadas topped with black beans, roasted tomatillo sauce, fresh guacamole, shredded lettuce and Monterey Jack cheese

It's time to return to the cuccina!!!

The aroma of freshly made tomato sauce is absolutely fantastic!! McGill's is tempting your taste buds again this week with delicious Italian dishes...call me at 681-3225 to reserve your table this Thursday and Saturday night...

Due to the Easter Holiday we are closing on Friday night; however, we do not want to make you miss your chance to dine with us so we are opening on Saturday instead!!

Appetizers

Bruschetta
Olive oil brushed Italian bread, grilled, topped with fresh tomato concasse, garlic, basil, and olive oil

Minestra Maritata
Small Italian meatballs simmered in a rich chicken broth with fresh spinach and orzo pasta, finished with an egg liaison and topped with fresh parmesan cheese

Main Course

Gnocchi di Patate con Ragù de Carne
Potato gnocchi in a rich Bolognese sauce with Grana Padano Parmesan

Cappellacci con la zucca
House made ravioli filled with roasted butternut squash and ricotta cheese. Finished in sweet butter with fresh sage

Piccatine al Limone e Capperi
Chicken breast in a light crumb, fried with capers and fresh lemon juice, served with sauteed spinach with shallots

Dessert

Tiramisu
